Tuesday evening the BUffalo Bills announced their four protected practice squad players who cannot be signed by another team this week:
- WR Kenny Stills
- OL Jordan Devey
- OL Jonotthan Harrison
- LB Darron Lee
Stills is not a surprise to be protected with his recent signing being a nice insurance policy should the Bills lose talent at WR for any reason during the playoffs.
Both Harrison and Devey have been protected from being stolen multiple weeks this season. An interesting nugget is that both linemen have starting experience and can play multiple positions—something that could have been potentially coveted by a team like the Cleveland Browns who are battling a COVID-19 outbreak and have suddenly become dangerously thin at offensive line.
Lee is a former first-round pick of the New York Jets who spent last season with the Kansas City Chiefs mostly as a backup. He has been active for the Bills in two games this season, getting playing time on special teams against the Los Angeles Chargers and the Arizona Cardinals.
