The Buffalo Bills want to see you blue! Or at least WEARING blue. The Bills have announced their desire for all of us to go “Blue for Buffalo” this weekend in celebration of reaching the playoffs.
Presented by Labatt Blue, fans are being asked to “gear up in [our] favorite blue Bills gear.” In addition, they’re promising that “landmarks around Buffalo will be lit up in blue on Friday and Saturday night to celebrate.” Per the release the landmarks will include "Buffalo City Hall, The Electric Tower, The Curtiss, M&T Bank, Buffalo Place and the Theatre District. The Bills Stadium will go blue as well."
For some superstitious fans this might pose a problem. For example, I have been mostly wearing a Color Rush jersey on game days and I’m reluctant to “go blue.” I don’t need thousands and thousands of angry Bills fans blaming ME for the loss after all. Also, my Friday polo shirts have a lot of red in them too. What can I say? I look good in red*.
