Matt Milano is set to return to action this week as the Buffalo Bills take on the Tennessee Titans on Monday Night Football. The Bills linebacker, who missed one game with a hamstring injury, is “good to go,” according to head coach Sean McDermott.
Although the Bills beat the Chiefs without Milano’s help, he’s still one of the most important players on the defense. Despite missing a game, he leads the team with six tackles for loss. Against the Titans and running back Derrick Henry, who leads the league in rushing by a wide margin, Milano’s disruption will be critical.
Two noteworthy players will still be questionable for this weekend, both special teams leaders. Taiwan Jones (hamstring) wasn’t able to practice on Thursday or Friday. He played through the Chiefs game with his hamstring injury, but the team may be thinking about resting him this week ahead of the bye. Siran Neal came down with an illness on Friday, so his recovery will determine if he can play. McDermott mentioned that if either player were unavailable, it’s an opportunity for Gabriel Davis to fill in as the gunner on special teams.
