Coming into the game against the Tennessee Titans, Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen had 79 passing touchdowns. His second touchdown of the night tied Hall of Famer Jim Kelly for another mark in team history. This time, it’s the most passing touchdowns in the player’s first four years with the Bills.
With his third touchdown pass of the night, Allen (82) passed Kelly (81) and there are still 11 games left in the season for Allen to add to the figure. Ryan Fitzpatrick had 80, per ESPN’s graphic, just one behind Kelly.
Allen moves into third all-time on the Bills’ passing TD list, as well. Joe Ferguson has 181 passing touchdowns so it’s going to be a while until Allen passes him. Kelly holds the team record with 237.
Here’s the full list:
- Jim Kelly 237
- Joe Ferguson 181
- Josh Allen 82
- Ryan Fitzpatrick 80
- Jack Kemp 77
- Drew Bledsoe 55
- Tyrod Taylor 51
- Doug Flutie 47
With Monday’s totals added in, Allen has thrown 1.64 touchdown per game, ahead of Kelly at 1.48125 touchdowns per game. Fitz was 1.45 and is the only other QB with more than 20 touchdowns and more than 1.21 touchdowns per game.
