The Buffalo Bills and Miami Dolphins will square off on Sunday, October 31st, in a matchup that has favored the Bills in recent years. The only loss in the rivalry since Sean McDermott started as the head coach in Buffalo prior to the 2017 season came when Charles Clay dropped a Josh Allen pass at the goal line with 60 seconds left in December of 2018.
Quarterback Josh Allen, in particular, has had some very good games against Miami, but not in 2021. Despite the Bills winning 35-0 earlier this year, Allen was just 17-of-33 for 179 yards and two touchdowns plus an interception. He added 35 yards rushing on 5 carries.
In that 35-0 win, the Bills’ defense obviously had a great game. Miami was 0-4 on fourth down and 8-of-18 on third down. The Bills forced three turnovers and sacked the Dolphins six times. A.J. Epenesa knocked starting QB Tua Tagovailoa from the game with a hard, legal hit and Jacoby Brissett took over (for a few weeks).
The Bills opened as 13-point favorites (ON HALLOWEEN!) but that’s been bet up to 13.5. The over/under is 49.5. So DraftKings thinks the Bills are going to win 31.5 to 18. (You can place your bet at our partner DraftKings.)
