Buffalo Bills linebacker Matt Milano went to the medical tent in the second quarter. It was difficult to see what happened on the replay, but Milano came off the field after the first play run by the Houston Texans in the quarter. He was blocked moving laterally but it didn’t appear like anything weird happened.
He walked off the field and talked with a coach before eventually moving into the trainer’s tent. He exited and Sal Capaccio on the sideline for the Buffalo Bills radio network reports he’s doubtful to return with a hamstring injury.
A.J. Klein is in the game.
Milano has missed several games due to hamstring injuries over the years. In 2020, he missed Week 1 with a hamstring injury on his right leg. In 2019, he missed one game with a left hamstring injury. In 2017, he missed the playoff game with a hamstring strain.
If Milano misses the AFC showdown against the Kansas City Chiefs next week, it will mark the second straight regular season the Bills were without one of their best defenders against Patrick Mahomes, Andy Reid, and the top offense in the NFL.
