We’re not yet halfway through the 2021 season, but the Buffalo Bills have their final matchup with the Miami Dolphins this Sunday. It sets up as a scary matchup...for the Dolphins.
2021 season to date
The Dolphins are 1-6 with their only win coming in very first week of the season. Their starting quarterback, Tua Tagovailoa missed three of those losses after being injured in the previous Bills vs. Dolphins game. He returned to action two weeks ago in the Dolphins’ loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars in London.
Head Coach
Brian Flores remains the head coach in South Florida. 2021 is his third season as an NFL head coach. It’s also the second-worst start of his career. His rookie season started 0-7. His career record is now 16-23 (0.410 percent).
Offensive Coordinator
George Godsey and Eric Studesville are still sharing the offensive coordinator job for the Dolphins. Their offense ranks 29th in points per game and 18th in yards per game.
Defensive Coordinator
Rounding out the top three coaches is Josh Boyer. He also has retained his job thus far, but he may not last the full season. His defense ranks 31st in both points per game allowed and yards per game allowed.
