When a Josh Allen would-be game-winning touchdown pass slipped through the hands of tight end Charles Clay on Dec. 2, 2018, the Buffalo Bills suffered a 21-17 loss to the Miami Dolphins in Allen’s first game against the Dolphins.

Allen and the Bills have not lost since, an impressive six-game winning streak when the Bills have outscored the Dolphins by a 232-112 margin—an average margin of victory of 20 points per game.

Allen and the Bills (4-2) welcome the Dolphins (1-6) to Highmark Stadium for a 1 p.m. Eastern clash Sunday afternoon, with the Bills looking to shake off a 34-31 setback vs. the Tennessee Titans in Week 6, and the Dolphins looking to snap a six-game losing streak since defeating the New England Patriots in their opener.

Since entering the NFL as the No. 7 overall pick in the 2018 NFL Draft, all Allen has accomplished against the Fish is post a 6-1 record, including six consecutive victories, with 22 total touchdowns and five interceptions.

Some of Allen’s best performances as a pro have come against the Dolphins, including last year in Week 2, when Allen had four TD passes and 415 passing yards during a 31-28 triumph. Allen has earned AFC Offensive Player of the Week honors three times against Miami.

During the recent six-game winning streak vs. Miami, Allen has directed a Bills offense that is averaging 39 points per game, including a 56-26 trouncing of the Phins in the 2020 regular-season finale and a 35-0 shutout in Week 2. In that game, Allen threw for two touchdowns, Zack Moss added a pair of rushing touchdowns, and fellow backfield mate Devin Singletary rushed for 82 yards and a TD to fuel the offense.

Buffalo’s defense registered six sacks against Miami, forced two fumbles and had one interception. A.J. Epenesa delivered a punishing hit that knocked Tua Tagovailoa out of the game in the first quarter, adding injury to insult for the Dolphins.

While the Bills were on a bye in Week 7, Miami suffered a 30-28 loss to the Atlanta Falcons, falling on a last-second field goal by Younghoe Koo. Tagovailoa passed for 291 yards and set a new career mark with four passing touchdowns, but he also threw two interceptions that set up Falcons scores as Miami’s woes extended for another week.

The Bills have won six straight, eight of the last ten, and 13 of the last 17 vs. the Dolphins dating back to the 2013 season. Buffalo trails Miami 61-53-1 in the all-time series.

Buffalo is listed as a 14-point favorite. The Bills will be wearing their throwback uniforms—white jerseys with white pants and white helmet, complete with the red standing Buffalo. Here are all the ways to catch Sunday’s game from home:
