Star Lotulelei, Stefon Diggs not among 70+ players at voluntary Buffalo Bills OTAs

The Buffalo Bills voluntarily returned to the practice field on Tuesday, with Organized Team Activities (OTAs) taking place at One Bills Drive. While COVID-19 protocols remain in place, the team is back to practicing and prepping for the 2021 season.

Quarterback Josh Allen and LB Tremaine Edmunds were scheduled to speak with the media on Tuesday (and the official team account showed off our favorite QB in shorts, a visor, and the brand new white facemasks on Monday), so we know they are in attendance. However, two players we know who were not there are Star Lotulelei and Stefon Diggs. Again, these practices are currently voluntary.

Head coach Sean McDermott estimated that 70+ members of the team were in attendance, though I find it hard to believe he doesn’t know the exact number based on his personality.

Here are the numbers were were able to pull from the Bills’ workout video:

  • 2 - Tyler Bass
  • 3 - Matt Haack
  • 4 - Jake Fromm
  • 13 - Gabriel Davis
  • 15 - Jake Kumerow
