While many Buffalo Bills fans were hoping the team would bring in someone to compete with Levi Wallace for the second cornerback job, the Bills have expressed confidence in Dane Jackson, a 2020 seventh-round draft pick out of the University of Pittsburgh.

In today’s edition of the Bills daily links, we size up the CB2 competition, assessing whether Wallace, entering his fourth season as a starter, can hold off Jackson to start on the outside opposite of All-Pro corner Tre’Davious White.

We also compare Buffalo’s position rooms from 2020 and 2021 to see where the Bills have upgraded their roster, and where they might have declined in talent. We continue to run through the worst salary cap values from last year, learn which two rookies found themselves on a list of potential busts from the 2021 NFL Draft class, examine who will take over for the departed Andre Roberts as Buffalo’s kickoff and punt returner, nominate one veteran cut candidate and one breakout candidate for this year, and much more!
