All NFL teams are required to reduce their rosters to 85 players by 4:00 PM on Tuesday August 17, and the Buffalo Bills made a number of moves on Sunday in anticipation of the deadline.
The team officially announced the release of OL Marquel Harrell, OL Caleb Benenoch, OL Syrus Tuitele, LB Mike Bell, and DL Eli Ankou. Harrell, Benenoch, and Tuitele failed to play an offensive snap in Friday night’s 16-15 victory over the Detroit Lions. The only other player not to play a snap on Friday was OL Tyler Gauthier.

It will be worth monitoring in the coming days to see if the Bills make additional moves as other clubs across the NFL make the first round of cuts. The Bills will also need to reduce the roster down to 80 players by 4:00 PM on Tuesday, August 24. Final roster cuts are set to happen Tuesday, August 31.
