Last year, he came in at number 87. This year, MVP candidate Josh Allen was all the way up to number 10 on the NFL’s Top 100 list, as voted on by players. The Buffalo Bills QB is the first top-ten player for the franchise in the short history of the rankings.
Three QBs come in ahead of Allen and they all have MVPs and Super Bowl rings; Tom Brady, Aaron Rodgers, and Patrick Mahomes.
From No. 87 to No. 10 in just a year.

There's a reason @JoshAllenQB made one of the biggest leaps in this year's #NFLTop100.

In the highlight package, his brains, big arm, ability to make plays on the run, and boyish personality are all cited as reasons he has made such a big leap. Most of all, they talk about his tenacity, whether it’s never giving up on a play or stiff-arming a defender into the ground. Colts All-Pro linebacker Darius Leonard said he hit him with everything he had, and Allen still didn’t go to the ground and was trash talking. Defenders talk about the times they almost got him, but couldn’t.
Other Bills joining Allen on the list were Stefon Diggs (11), Tre’Davious White (95), and Cole Beasley (96).
