Now that waiver claims have been submitted, teams are able to sign free agents to their practice squad. While Buffalo Bills general manager Brandon Beane was hopeful he could re-sign all of his recent releases, at least one was scooped up as cornerback Nick McCloud was claimed on waivers by the Cincinnati Bengals.
Here’s an updated list of players reportedly added to the Bills’ practice squad:
- OG Jamil Douglas (via Aaron Wilson)
- OG Jack Anderson (2021 draft pick) (via Aaron Wilson)
- WR Tanner Gentry (via Aaron Wilson)
- QB Jake Fromm (per Ian Rapoport)
QB Davis Webb is in Bills clothes on the sideline at practice today, along with RB Antonio Williams and TE Quintin Morris, but nothing has been reported as of yet. Beane also mentioned QB Jake Fromm in his press conference today as someone he would like to have back (and he is now).
Other players that we expect will be back are RB Antonio Williams, WR Isaiah Hodgins, TE Nate Becker, CB Olaijah Griffin, CB Cam Lewis, CB Rachad Wildgoose, S Josh Thomas, and OL Jordan Devey.
