All of the injured Buffalo Bills were practicing on Thursday, including receiver Gabriel Davis, according to the team’s published injury report. Davis (ankle), who’d come up limping in the second half of the team’s season opener, missed Wednesday’s practice with his injury, but his limited participation today creates a positive trajectory for this week.
This week we’ve also seen Star Lotulelei (calf) return to the field. He’s been a limited participant on both Wednesday and Thursday, after being unable to practice at all last week. Other positive signs were Isaiah McKenzie (shoulder) and Matt Milano (ankle). Both players were limited in practice on Wednesday, but practiced fully on Thursday, almost certainly setting them up to play this weekend.
Veterans Mario Addison and Cole Beasley took rest days on Wednesday, but were back in practice today. Emmanuel Sanders, who’s also listed with a foot injury, took a veteran rest day today, but was a full practice participant yesterday.
The only other player to note is veteran safety Micah Hyde. He popped onto the injury report today as a limited participant with a neck injury. Since this happened during practice, we won’t know whether this is a little thing or whether it puts his weekend in doubt until after Friday’s practice.
Another injury update to note was receiver/returner Marquez Stevenson. Although he’s not eligible to play until week four because he’s on IR, Stevenson has been running at practice, and seems well on his way to playing when he becomes eligible.
