Heading into Sunday, the Buffalo Bills and their fan base are riding high off of a great win against The Washington Football Team. Most fans were looking forward to the matchup against former Bills QB Tyrod Taylor, but instead Davis Mills leads the Houston Texans offense into Orchard Park.
All the questions from the national media have been answered and muted at least for the time being. In Week 3, Josh Allen displayed razor-sharp accuracy, quick decision-making, and pure dominance over a defense that many thought would be great this year. The addition of WR Emmanuel Sanders is starting to pay dividends as well, as he and Allen connected two times for scores.
The Bills’ defense looks to be in midseason form. Forced turnovers, QB pressures and stifling run defense ensured this game was out of reach for Washington early on. The blowout win with a 43-21 score doesn't accurately depict how far apart the two teams were.
Up next, Davis Mills and the Houston Texans. Several reports out of Houston state the team will look to open the offense up a bit coming into WNY this weekend. To Bills fans, that is reason for celebration after witnessing the Texans’ offense in Week 3. Antwan Staley joins the King on the Code of Conduct to discuss.
