Jordan Poyer doesn’t practice at start of Buffalo Bills - Houston Texans week

An ankle injury has Poyer day-to-day.

The Buffalo Bills don’t have a very large injury report ahead of their match with the Houston Texans, but starting safety Jordan Poyer is one name to monitor. The safety, who had an interception last week, is “day-to-day” with an ankle injury, according to Sean McDermott. In Wednesday’s practice report, Poyer was the only player who wasn’t able to practice because of an injury. Veterans Mario Addison, Cole Beasley, and Taiwan Jones took rest days.

Offensive lineman Jon Feliciano was limited with an illness on Wednesday. Micah Hyde (quad) was limited, as was Taron Johnson (groin). Feliciano should hopefully be fine, but Hyde and Johnson are at least worth monitoring. Quad and groin injuries are capable of lingering for a while, depending on the severity.

On the bright side, Levi Wallace and Dane Jackson seem to be cleared of their knee injuries, and the same goes for Star Lotulelei. Thursday’s update will provide more insight into Poyer, Hyde, and Johnson’s availability for this weekend.
