2022 BROPS. Mocks, cuts, FA pickups, staff signings, etc. Half plan, full plan, whatever.

Hey all. Obviously, the Bills really, really should be in the Super Bowl. Alas.. Well, there's no use crying over spilled blue cheese dressing, so let's offer up any offseason ideas and perhaps offer *constructive* criticism as to why some Rumblers' plans won't work.

My plans:

FAs I'd love to keep: Bates, Boettger, Hughes, McKenzie, Neal, Phillips, Wallace, Zimmer. Can't keep them all I would imagine.

FAs I'd love to sign: Perhaps Ogbah from Miami (to replace Mario who is getting too old) and-- surprise-- luring Corey Bojorquez back, who I wish we never let go in the first place. Haack obviously sucks hard. If possible maybe a couple OL depth signings so we don't have to go that direction in the draft.

Some draft ideas:

RD 1 (25): If necessary, trade up a handful of spots (maybe a 5th and 6th or something) to get LB NAKOBE DEAN out of Georgia. Not a big body, but heavy on instinct and athleticism. Some definitely disappointing performances out of the LB corps at times this season (especially vs. KC), though a lot of that might be on Frazier. Not being from Buffalo nor owning an NFL cable package I don't get to watch many games.

RD 2 (57): TRE'VIUS HODGES-TOMLINSON, CB TCU. Short (5'9) but hyper-pesky and refuses to back down from any challenge. Wallace has definitely developed into a serviceable starter but he still has his limitations. Seeing as how the defense ultimately let us down at the end I feel good about going defense with the first couple picks.

RD 3 (89): KENNETH WALKER III, RB Michigan St. Yes, I know Motor came alive late in the season but I don't plan on re-signing Breida and I would like another candidate for KR/PR duties. Walker is short but exploded with ridiculous numbers last year. It seems Breece Hall gets more recognition in the mocks I've looked at, so maybe this guy gets overlooked and falls to us.

RD 4 ((126): HASKELL GARRETT, DT Ohio St. Needs some muscle but seems like he could be in the Star mold, as in eating up multiple blockers. Seeing as Star is getting up there toward his mid 30s, this might make a good pick. I think I've seen him in some mocks' 3rd round picks, but also 4th rounds.

After that.. Whatever's left after possibly trading up to get Dean I would be happy with picking a TE and QB, maybe one more WR. IMHO not a horrible plan. What have y'all got? Lay it on me, dudes and dudesses!

Just another great fan opinion shared on the pages of BuffaloRumblings.com.
