Prop bets: What does new-look Bills’ offense present against Jets’ defense?

Both the Buffalo Bills and New York Jets need to fix some offensive issues and break a two-game losing streak. As such, today’s matchup will be intense and full of playoff implications. As a seasoned sports bettor, I have compiled a list of my favorite prop bets for the game that are sure to make the game even more exciting.

For the Bills-Jets NFL Week 11 game, here are a few prop bets I’ve placed with our friends over at DraftKings Sportsbook:

James Cook - Over 55.5 yards rushing (-110)

The Buffalo Bills have a running back who’s sixth in rushing yards in the entire NFL. And when running back James Cook’s number is called, he moves the ball. He’s averaging 5.1 yards per carry on 120 rushes this season. He’s also added more than 200 yards receiving, and is just as big a part of the offense as anyone. After success on the ground last week, the Bills would be foolish to shy away from the run. Especially because the Jets give up 138.4 yards on the ground per game. That’s bad enough to put them as the second-worst in the NFL. I expect a big day from Jimbo Cook.

Stefon Diggs Over 6.5 Receptions (+105)

There’s been only one game this season where wide receiver Stefon Diggs hasn’t had at least six receptions. Week 1 against the Jets, Diggs had 10 catches. Death, taxes and Stefon Diggs targets are all things you can count on. After an off day last week you can bet that Diggs will be getting targets early and often to get him involved — early and often. Another week of people assuming he doesn’t want to be in Buffalo could lead to some frustrations I’m hoping he takes out on the Jets’ secondary.

Josh Allen over 40+ rushing yards (+180)

Joe Brady really only has one immediate job, and it’s quite simple. Let the Bills’ offense get back to doing the things that made them nearly unstoppable. The Jets’ secondary always gives Allen problem. But as I mentioned earlier when discussing Cook, they can’t defend the run. That includes quarterbacks and the Buffalo Bills have to get back to the point that they remember their quarterback is one of the best runners in football. We should see a heavy dose of RPO action, and Josh should pick enough moments to get involved himself and keep the chains moving.
