The Buffalo Bills continue their late-season gauntlet with a matchup at home against the surging Dallas Cowboys. Both teams are fresh off of wins over rivals. Catch up on the Cowboys below.

2023 Season Summary

The Cowboys are 10-3 after dismantling the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday Night Football. That victory put Dallas into first place in the NFC East and second place in the whole NFC picture. They have the same record as the San Francisco 49ers, but the Niners sit in first thanks to their Week 5 win over the Cowboys.

Head Coach: Mike McCarthy

McCarthy is in his 17th season as an NFL head coach. He started his NFL head coaching career with the Green Bay Packers and spent 13 seasons as their leader. After a brief stint away from coaching, he was hired as the Cowboys’ head coach in 2020 and has run the team since. His career regular-season record is 165-100-2 (0.622%).

Offensive Coordinator: Brian Schottenheimer

Schottenheimer is in his first season as OC of the Cowboys. He took over this offseason after the Cowboys moved on from Kellen Moore. Before joining Dallas he had 12 seasons of experience as an offensive coordinator in the NFL. Those 12 seasons were split between the New York Jets, St. Louis Rams, and the Seattle Seahawks. Schottenheimer’s offense is ranked fourth in yards per game and first in points per game.

Defensive Coordinator: Dan Quinn

Quinn has been the DC in Dallas since 2021. He was previously the head coach of the Atlanta Falcons from 2015 to 2020. Quinn became a known name in the league as the DC of the “Legion of Boom”-era Seattle Seahawks. His Cowboys defense is ranked third in yards per game against and fourth in points per game against.
