The Buffalo Bills have suffered a slew of injuries along the defensive side of the ball, including losing All-Pro linebacker Matt Milano, cornerback Tre’Davious White, and defensive tackle DaQuan Jones early on in their season.

Despite the injuries, Buffalo’s defense has persevered, and during Sunday’s dominant 31-10 trouncing of the Dallas Cowboys, the defense might have played its best game of the season in bottling up the league’s highest-scoring offense.

In today’s edition of Buffalo Rumblinks, we discuss how the defense is poised to potentially get one of its injured stars — DaQuan Jones — back as the team opened its 21-day return-to-play window for Jones.

“I don’t expect him to play at this point (on Saturday), but it’s good to have him back starting to work again,” McDermott told the media.

Through the first five games of the season, Jones had built upon his reputation as a solid run stuffer while becoming one of the league’s most underrated pass rushers, accumulating 2.5 sacks and five quarterback hits.
