Christmas NFL Prop Presents

Presented By DraftKings

NFL: Kansas City Chiefs at New England Patriots David Butler II-USA TODAY Sports

The NFL has decided to spread some holiday cheer this Christmas with a special lineup of three exciting games for fans to enjoy. Whether you’re a die-hard NFL fanatic or just looking for an entertaining way to spend the holiday, these matchups offer the perfect opportunity to enjoy some high-stakes action on the gridiron.

To add to the excitement, our friends at DraftKings Sportsbook have provided some enticing player prop bets for each game. These bets offer a unique opportunity for fans to get in on the action and potentially cash in on the holiday festivities.

The day kicks off with a battle between the Las Vegas Raiders and the Kansas City Chiefs. Next up, the New York Giants take on the Philadelphia Eagles in a divisional showdown. The day concludes with a marquee matchup between the Baltimore Ravens and the San Francisco 49ers. This clash of titans features two of the most talked about quarterbacks in the league in Lamar Jackson and Brock Purdy.

With the holiday spirit in the air, what better way to enjoy the day than by watching some thrilling NFL action and potentially winning big with some well-placed prop bets? So let’s get to it! For this week’s special line up for the Christmas games, here’s a few prop bets I’ve placed with our friends over at DraftKings Sportsbook:

Patrick Mahomes Over .5 INTs (+110)

Frankly, I’m shocked this prop has positive odds. In 14 games, Patrick Mahomes had 13 interceptions. While he’s still the best quarterback in the world, he does still take chances each week that he shouldn’t. And this season the talent around him isn’t performing at the level we are used to seeing his receivers show up for him. So whether it’s a tip drill, a dropped pass that turns into a turnover or if he just puts one up there, you can almost expect to cash in on this prop bet every single week.

A.J. Brown Anytime TD (+100)

A.J. Brown is just simply incredible. He’s a big body with strong hands and great route-running ability. If Jalen Hurts throws it his way he will score. We’ve seen it now for two years in a row. The only thing that would cause apprehension when looking at this bet is just how many times the team will opt for the tush push in goal line situations rather than look for their number-one WR against a weak secondary. The Eagles should look to run the score up on the Giants. If so, that doesn’t happen without participation from Brown.

Lamar Jackson Over 1.5 Pass TDs (+135)

Lamar Jackson is dynamic and most people fear his running ability when he’s playing against their favorite team. But this season he’s also shown the ability to get the ball into his receivers hands with fun throwing angles, precision passing, and his ability to make the people around him better. The last few games for Jackson have been back and forth in terms of passing TDs for him. He seems to alternate over the last five games of just one passing TD or multiple in the contest. This is the week that he’s due for multiple scores and it’s against the 49ers, which I think is the best team in football. He will need to have his best game of the season for the Ravens to head back to B-More with a win.

Prop bets, short for “proposition bets,” are specific wagers made on various events or occurrences within a football game that do not necessarily relate to the final outcome or score. These bets are commonly offered during major football events like the Super Bowl. Prop bets can span a wide range of categories, from player performance and statistics to specific in-game incidents or even elements unrelated to the actual gameplay itself.

If you were to stack these bets for a parlay, your odds would increase to +887.

A parlay is a type of wager where bettors combine two or more individual bets into one larger bet. In order to win a parlay bet, all of the individual bets within the parlay must win. The potential payout for a parlay bet is often higher than if the bets were placed individually, but the risk is also greater since all of the bets must win in order to receive any payout.

As for +887 odds, this is a specific type of odds commonly used in sports betting. When the odds are listed as +887, it means that a bet on that outcome would result in a potential payout of $887 for every $100 wagered. In other words, the bettor would receive $987 if the bet is won (the initial $100 wager, plus the $887 in winnings). In general, the higher the odds, the greater the potential payout, but also the lower the likelihood of the outcome occurring.

We kindly request and encourage all individuals to engage in responsible betting practices. While betting can be a fun and exciting activity, it is crucial to approach it with caution and moderation. Remember to set limits for yourself and stick to them. Only wager an amount of money that you are comfortable losing and never go beyond your means. Additionally, ensure that betting remains a form of entertainment, rather than a means to solve financial or personal problems. Always keep in mind that there are risks involved, so it is essential to bet responsibly for your own well-being.
