NFL Week 13 prop bets: Three games, three props

JSpenceTheKing’s best DraftKings Sportsbook prop bets for NFL Week 13

NFL: Jacksonville Jaguars at Houston Texans Troy Taormina-USA TODAY Sports

Even though the Buffalo Bills are resting this week on a late-season bye, there are still plenty of opportunities to get in on the action with player prop bets from other games around the league. In this article, I’ll share my top-three favorite player prop bets for three of my favorite matchups from today’s games. These bets keep me invested more when my rooting interests aren’t quite there. Whether you’re a seasoned bettor or new to player prop bets, I hope this article will provide valuable insight and help you make some profitable decisions for the upcoming game.

For this week’s games, here are a few prop bets I’ve placed with our friends over at DraftKings Sportsbook:

A.J. Brown Anytime TD (+130)

Brown might be the best receiver in football this season. While it’s not a guarantee each week that he scores, he’s always involved in the offense and will get plenty of opportunities to score. Brown makes the difficult catches look easy and quarterback Jalen Hurts looks his way in the red zone unless they are on the one-yard line. Look for Brown to have another big day and cash in on this bet.

Jahmyr Gibbs 40+ receiving yards (+160)

The Lions have figured out how to properly use two running backs with different skill sets. Montgomery gets the tough yards in between the tackles, while Gibbs has been a weapon in the passing game that teams have to game-plan for. The Saints won’t be able to stop either back. Look for big plays from the backfield of Detroit to carry them to a win.

Devin Singletary Anytime TD (+115)

Even with Pierce now back, Devin Singletary has done enough this season to prove he deserves more opportunities on a week-to-week basis. Singletary looks just as good as any running back in the league when he’s featured. He’s run big all season and he’s third in rushing yards (306) over the last three weeks. Look for him to continue to get the ball and make the most out of each carry.

Prop bets, short for “proposition bets,” are specific wagers made on various events or occurrences within a football game that do not necessarily relate to the final outcome or score. These bets are commonly offered during major football events like the Super Bowl. Prop bets can span a wide range of categories, from player performance and statistics to specific in-game incidents or even elements unrelated to the actual gameplay itself.

We kindly request and encourage all individuals to engage in responsible betting practices. While betting can be a fun and exciting activity, it is crucial to approach it with caution and moderation. Remember to set limits for yourself and stick to them. Only wager an amount of money that you are comfortable losing and never go beyond your means. Additionally, ensure that betting remains a form of entertainment, rather than a means to solve financial or personal problems. Always keep in mind that there are risks involved, so it is essential to bet responsibly for your own well-being.
