NFL: Buffalo Bills at New England Patriots Bob DeChiara-USA TODAY Sports

As the NFL regular season comes to a close and the playoffs are inching closer, the Buffalo Bills and New England Patriots face off in a matchup with significant playoff implications. In addition to the on-field action, bettors are looking to get in on the action with a variety of prop bets. In this article, we take a closer look at three of our favorite prop bets for today’s Bills-Patriots game.

With the Bills aiming to clinch a spot in the playoffs with a win and some help, the stakes are high and the betting options are plentiful. Let’s dive into the prop bets and see where we can find some value for this pivotal matchup.

For this week’s Bills-Patriots matchup, here are a few prop bets I’ve placed with our friends over at DraftKings Sportsbook:

Yes - BUF Bills to win every quarter (+500)

For this leg to hit that means the Bills have to score every quarter. Not just a touchdown, but a field goal will do as long as they score more than the Patriots in every quarter. I would have stayed far away from this prop had this been before Joe Brady took over the offense. But I am confident in the offense these last two games and I think they are on a mission to find their sweet spot and groove headed into the playoffs. I am looking for the offense to find plenty of success today against this beat up Patriots defense.

Stefon Diggs Anytime TD (+125)

As I just mentioned, the Patriots defense is beat up and the secondary will be full of backups. Stefon Diggs typically has a big day against this defense but this is especially looking like a potential big day for the star wideout. He has just one touchdown over the last 6 games and will look to take advantage of the weakened defense that the Patriots will have active on game day.

Josh Allen Over 1.5 Pass TDs (-140)

The Bills have relied more on the run game as of late to score points and Allen has had just one touchdown pass in each week over the last three games. But this game will be about figuring out how the offense needs to operate heading into the playoffs. Allen needs to reestablish his connection with Diggs and I think most Bills fans would agree that Kincaid needs his number called a little bit more than we’ve seen over the last couple of games as well. Look for Allen to have a big day and spread the ball around. He will find paydirt more than once and help you all win your fantasy football leagues.

Prop bets, short for “proposition bets,” are specific wagers made on various events or occurrences within a football game that do not necessarily relate to the final outcome or score. These bets are commonly offered during major football events like the Super Bowl. Prop bets can span a wide range of categories, from player performance and statistics to specific in-game incidents or even elements unrelated to the actual gameplay itself.

If you were to stack these bets for a parlay, your odds would increase to +1000.

A parlay is a type of wager where bettors combine two or more individual bets into one larger bet. In order to win a parlay bet, all of the individual bets within the parlay must win. The potential payout for a parlay bet is often higher than if the bets were placed individually, but the risk is also greater since all of the bets must win in order to receive any payout.

As for +1000 odds, this is a specific type of odds commonly used in sports betting. When the odds are listed as +1000, it means that a bet on that outcome would result in a potential payout of $1000 for every $100 wagered. In other words, the bettor would receive $1100 if the bet is won (the initial $100 wager, plus the $1000 in winnings). In general, the higher the odds, the greater the potential payout, but also the lower the likelihood of the outcome occurring.

We kindly request and encourage all individuals to engage in responsible betting practices. While betting can be a fun and exciting activity, it is crucial to approach it with caution and moderation. Remember to set limits for yourself and stick to them. Only wager an amount of money that you are comfortable losing and never go beyond your means. Additionally, ensure that betting remains a form of entertainment, rather than a means to solve financial or personal problems. Always keep in mind that there are risks involved, so it is essential to bet responsibly for your own well-being.
