The Buffalo Bills host the New England Patriots today in what could be a playoff-clinching contest for the Bills. With a win and losses by the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Cincinnati Bengals, the Bills will be guaranteed a spot in the playoffs for the fifth-straight season. A five-year playoff streak would be good for the second-longest in team history, trailing only the 1988-1993 Bills, who qualified for each of those six seasons.

Before that happens, though, quarterback Josh Allen and company are going to need to take care of business against a New England club playing out the string to end the season. The Patriots may have just four victories, but one of those wins came over Buffalo in Week Seven. Another of them came just last week, when the Patriots all but ended the Denver Broncos’ playoff hopes with a 26-23 win.
