The Buffalo Bills have a massive Week 18 date in South Beach with the Miami Dolphins. That’s exactly what the league hoped for when they made the 2023 NFL schedule. As such, the NFL released its full 2023 Week 18 schedule on Sunday night, which includes the day and time of Buffalo’s road game against Miami. The Bills-Dolphins game will kick off at 8 p.m. EST on Sunday, January 7.

The final week of Buffalo’s regular season might as well be a playoff game given how much is at stake. Depending on how everything plays out, the Bills could finish as high as the two seed in the AFC and AFC East Division Champions, or out of the playoffs with a loss and victories by both the the Pittsburgh Steelers and Jacksonville Jaguars. If the Bills lose and both Jaguars and Steelers lose, they will end up as the six seed. If Bills lose and only one of Steelers or Jaguars lose, Buffalo claims the seven seed.

Quarterback Josh Allen will have a lot on his shoulders this week, dealing with both the stinger he sustained while running to lock up the win in Week 17 and due to the stakes at hand in needing to lead a dominant passing attack.

Buffalo’s passing game has coasted on fumes through much of the team’s current win streak, which seems strange when you consider the players involved. Something’s clearly still off, but that could be anything from route concepts, to focus issues, a lack of execution, or even play calling. Much of the deficiency was masked when running back James Cook put the league on notice, but facing stiffer defensive competition the run game has come back down to earth a bit.

We’ll have much more for you in the coming days, but get ready for another primetime Bills game to end the regular season!
