Fresh off their bye week, the Buffalo Bills will head to Arrowhead Stadium to take on a familiar foe in the Kansas City Chiefs. The Bills are looking to keep their playoff hopes afloat, while the Chiefs still have eyes on the one seed.

2023 Season Summary

Kansas City is fresh off a loss to the Green Bay Packers and are now 8-4. They are first in the AFC West and third in the AFC playoff picture. The Chiefs are still firmly in the playoffs, but they haven’t looked like the defending Super Bowl champions.

Head Coach: Andy Reid

Reid is in his 25th season as an NFL head coach. The first 14 of those came with the Philadelphia Eagles and the last 11 have been with the Chiefs. He has a career regular-season record of 255-142-1 (0.642) and two Super Bowl rings.

Offensive Coordinator: Matt Nagy

This is Nagy’s second tenure as an offensive coordinator for the Chiefs. He returned to Reid’s staff last season after leaving in 2018 to become the head coach of the Chicago Bears. He was promoted from quarterbacks coach to offensive coordinator this offseason when Eric Bieniemy left to join the Washington Commanders. The Chiefs’ offense is ranked eighth in yards per game and 11th in points per game.

Defensive Coordinator: Steve Spagnuolo

Spagnuolo is in his fifth season with the Chiefs. He joined them after a five-season stint as the defensive coordinator of the New York Giants, a stint which ended with Spagnuolo serving as the interim head coach for four games. His defense is the best it’s ever been in KC, currently ranking fourth in yards per game against and third in points per game against.
