The Buffalo Bills have fixed a big problem by signing a solid swing tackle in the 6 foot 5, 324 pound Brandon Shell. He started 11 games at RT last season for Miami, he wasn't signed until week 2 and played at LT due to an injury by the starter.
Shell was a 5th round pick of the Jets and started 40 games over 4 years there. He was then signed by Seattle and started 21 games over 2 years there. Miami needed a swing tackle after week 2 and got good production out of Shell. He will be at OTA's today and was signed yesterday.
He is a good solid veteran that can play both tackles. He can provide some reasonable competition for Spencer Brown and is a much better play than Quisenberry. A real good signing by Brandon Beane and helps fixes the one big hole left on the offense. He has ended up being the starter in his three other stops and it's a real possibility that he is the opening day RT.
