Buffalo Bills linebacker Baylon Spector left Monday afternoon’s game against the Pittsburgh Steelers with a back injury and was listed as questionable to return before half time.

Spector started the game on Super Wild Card Weekend (which was pushed to Monday due to the winter storm which moved through Western New York over the weekend) in place of Tyrel Dodson. Dodson, who had been starting in place of injured All-Pro Matt Milano who has been on the Injured Reserve list since breaking his leg in Week 5, injured his shoulder in the Bills’ season finale with the Miami Dolphins.

Spector may have been injured when he took a knee to the back while trying to secure a loose ball.

With Spector out, Buffalo brought in linebacker A.J. Klein. Klein was signed to the Bills’ practice squad on Thursday in anticipation that Dodson might not be available for the playoff game in Orchard Park, NY. Klein is familiar with the Buffalo defense having been with the Bills from 2020-2022 and for a few weeks this season.
