It’s our first chat of the new year, so even if Larry David says it’s too late, HAPPY NEW YEAR! It’s time for those resolutions!

I usually go with an education resolution, financial resolution, physical resolution, and maybe one more to kick off my year and (after reading Atomic Habits a few years ago), I set up my accountability reminders in my calendar and chat with a few accountability buddies, too. I won’t get into specifics, but you get the idea.

[Note: I don’t usually change many habits with my resolutions, so they are probably more accurately referred to as “goals” when it comes to me. I make them SMART to help me attain them.]

Today, I wanted to make resolutions not for myself, but for my football team. I really want the Bills to turn over a new leaf on defense (but the offense can help):

I won’t blow a lead in the final two minutes of a game.

Do you think they can do it? I promise to be their accountability buddy!

What are your resolutions? You can let me know your own personal ones or your resolution for the Bills.

We’re continuing to dust off an old favorite this week as we get further into the 2023 NFL season. We used to run open threads around TV shows like LOST and just general Friday night open threads. Let’s quote the OG Brian Galliford:

Welcome to the weekend, Buffalo Bills fans. We’ve got a couple more days before the Bills take the field, and after a long week, it’s time to blow off a little steam. Use this thread to talk about... well, whatever it is you’d like to talk about. Maybe you’d like to share a cool story from your week. I know I do!
