The Buffalo Bills and Miami Dolphins meet up tonight with the AFC East at stake. For the winner, a home playoff game and the AFC’s No. 2 seed is what they’ll receive. For the loser, a Wild Card game and a long, arduous travel through other teams’ stadiums awaits.

For the Bills, a win means that they’ll host the Pittsburgh Steelers next week, while the Dolphins would travel to Missouri to face off against the Kansas City Chiefs. If Miami wins, though, then these two teams will meet again next week in the exact same place.

Quarterback Josh Allen was on fire the last time these two teams met, as he accounted for more touchdowns (five — one rushing, four passing) than he did incomplete passes (four), completing 21-of-25 throws for 320 yards. Miami’s signal-caller, Tua Tagovailoa, was also sharp, completing 25-of-35 passes for 282 yards, one touchdown, and one interception.

Your first-half open thread for tonight is here, friends. Please remember to be civil to one another. Make sure to toggle the comments to “oldest” for that classic game-thread feel. And, most importantly, remember to enjoy the game wherever it is that you’re watching.

Go Bills!
