Buffalo Bills wide receiver Sammy Watkins suffered through a terrible November. In four games played during that month, he caught just 13 passes (on 31 targets) for 105 yards, and did not score a touchdown. When he fumbled his first touch in Sunday's loss to Denver, it looked like December was going to be equally unkind to the rookie wide receiver.
Instead, Watkins finally broke out of his funk as the Bills tried to muster a fourth-quarter comeback in their 24-17 loss. Watkins finished the game with seven receptions (on 12 targets) for 127 yards to spearhead a record-setting passing day from quarterback Kyle Orton. The rookie remains the team leader in targets, receptions, yards, and receiving touchdowns entering the final three games of the season.
Here's an updated look at how the Bills' passing game is structured heading into a Week 15 showdown with the Green Bay Packers. Buffalo's offense is under a lot of fire right now as the largest point of frustration on a team that should be better than it is, but the guys on the list below aren't necessarily to blame.
