Marcell Dareus is No. 62 on NFL Network Top 100 players list

Dareus, who is still only 24 years old, is coming off his best NFL season to date and, if he can keep himself out of trouble off the field, could establish himself as one of the league's best defensive tackles in short order.

Buffalo Bills defensive tackle Marcell Dareus is one of the 100 best players in the NFL, according to a poll put together by NFL Network.

Current teammates (Kyle Williams, Fred Jackson and Cordy Glenn) and opponents (Miami Dolphins center Mike Pouncey and New Orleans Saints defensive lineman Cameron Jordan) alike appear in the video proclaiming Dareus the 62nd-best player in the league at present. The network, which unveils 10 names at a time on the list, slots Dareus in a group that includes names like Troy Polamalu (61), DeSean Jackson (63), Kam Chancellor (65) and Nick Foles (70), among others.

Dareus is the second Bills defender to make this list, as Kiko Alonso came in at No. 84 overall.

In 2013, Dareus earned his first Pro Bowl appearance (yes, as a reserve) with his best pro season to date, tallying career highs in tackles (71) and sacks (7.5) while adding a forced fumble and three batted passes. In three seasons in the NFL, the former No. 3 overall pick has accumulated 18.5 sacks, and has cemented himself as one of the best among a fantastic 2011 NFL Draft class that has already seen 13 of its first-round picks make the Pro Bowl.

Still just 24 years old, the sky is the limit for Dareus on the field - so long as he can keep himself out of trouble off of it.
