Percy Harvin injury; Buffalo Bills receiver's status still up in the air

No one seems to know what is happening with Percy Harvin.

Percy Harvin was in the Buffalo Bills' facility Monday but it's still unclear when he is going to return to the field. Rex Ryan spoke about the situation after practice on Monday as the team returned from their bye week.

"Percy is good, he’s in the building. He’s in the training room today," said Ryan. "We’ll see how it goes. He wants to play and wants to contribute to this team. We’ll see how the week progresses to see where he’s at."

Three weeks ago, Harvin missed the game against the Cincinnati Bengals with a hip problem but that tune changed two weeks ago as the Bills descended on London and the team called it a "personal matter." That shifted the focus and may have been just the team hedging themselves financially against the enigmatic receiver calling it quits when healthy.

Despite toeing the company line a week ago saying Harvin was absent for personal reasons, Ryan is not questioning Harvin's desire anymore.

"Without question—that’s the least of our concern with him," said Ryan when asked about Harvin's level of commitment. "I know he wants to play.  He desperately wants to contribute to this team."

The Bills won't meet with the media again until Wednesday where we will get the official practice report for their upcoming game against the Miami Dolphins and maybe some answers. Then again, maybe not.
