The Buffalo Bills ruled starting safety Aaron Williams (neck) out of today's game versus the Miami Dolphins back on Friday, and he is easily the biggest name on today's list of inactives for the Bills. Here are the names of the seven players sitting out today's game:
- WR Marquise Goodwin (ribs)
- TE Chris Gragg (healthy scratch)
- C Gabe Ikard (healthy scratch)
- DL Alex Carrington (healthy scratch)
- DL Andre Fluellen (healthy scratch)
- LB Tony Steward (knee)
- S Aaron Williams (neck)
Williams was injured in last week's loss to New England, and did not practice all week. He'll be replaced in the starting lineup by Bacarri Rambo.
Goodwin, who has yet to play this season, was also ruled out on Friday. Steward, the rookie out of Clemson, was listed as questionable, but it's looking like the coaches want a full week of practice out of him before he returns to the lineup. (Or they're just happy with A.J. Tarpley as the top reserve right now.)
Gragg, Ikard, and Fluellen have been healthy scratches for all three games so far this season, and Carrington is inactive for the first time this season, with his pseudo-demotion meaning that Stefan Charles is active after a week off.
Of the players listed on the injury report that are suiting up today, LeSean McCoy (hamstring), Percy Harvin (hip), and Marcus Easley (back, listed as questionable) are the most notable.
The Bills and the Dolphins kick off at 4:25 p.m. ET.
