Marcell Dareus injury: Buffalo Bills DT suffers broken foot vs. Jets

Despite finishing the game - and making a game-altering play late in the fourth quarter - Bills defensive tackle Marcell Dareus broke his foot in yesterday's win over the Jets.

When Buffalo Bills defensive lineman Marcell Dareus hit New York Jets quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick while throwing, forcing a wounded duck that Manny Lawson intercepted to help seal up yesterday's 22-17 upset win, he did so with a broken left foot.

Dareus broke the news himself with an Instagram post early Monday afternoon.

Broke my foot in the 4 qtr, but I had to finish the game for my team. I love Buffalo #Family #BillsMafia

The injury occurred in the third quarter, but Dareus was only out of the game for a short stretch. He ended up playing 37 out of a possible 57 snaps despite coming into the game at less than 100 percent with a neck injury.

Also, he appears to have a hammock in his house, which you can now add to your list of life goals. I know I did.

Rex Ryan told reporters recently that Dareus is a 2015 Pro Bowl alternate. The soon-to-be 26-year-old finished his fifth pro season with 48 tackles and two sacks.
