2016 NFL Draft, Round 1: TV schedule, Buffalo Bills preview

The 2016 NFL Draft starts tonight, and the Bills have a first-round pick for the first time since May 8, 2014

It has been 721 days since the Buffalo Bills last made a pick in the first round of the NFL Draft. Barring a trade out of tonight's festivities, that streak will come to an end, with the Bills owning the No. 19 overall pick in the 2016 NFL Draft, which starts tonight at 8:00 p.m. ET.

Coming off of an 8-8 finish in 2015, and having circumvented salary cap space issues to shed dead weight from the roster and add eight free agents, Doug Whaley, Rex Ryan, and the Bills are hoping to land a major contributor tonight - one that can aid the team's effort to end a 16-year playoff drought. We have debated for months now which players make the most sense to that end, and what position those players would ideally play. Tonight, we'll learn what the team's thoughts on the matter are.

Here's a bunch of information that you need to know for tonight's first round. There's a ton more to read in our NFL Draft hub if you need to divert your restless energy into reading. Our draft coverage will continue throughout the day, leading right up into the start of tonight's first round. Enjoy the day, folks. Go Bills!
