US PRESSWIRE

At or near the start of every month, we're going to poll the readers of Buffalo Rumblings on their state of mind regarding the chief decision-makers of the Buffalo Bills. This is your poll to state your pleasure, or lack thereof, with GM Buddy Nix. Here are some stories Nix has been heavily involved with over the last month.

  • Bills are 2-2 since the last approval poll: L 31-37 to NE; W 19-14 over MIA; L 13-20 to IND; W 34-18 over JAC
  • Current rankings: No. 17 offense (No. 26 passing, No. 4 rushing, No. 16 scoring), No. 24 defense (No. 13 passing, No. 30 rushing, No. 29 scoring)
  • Has reportedly opened contract negotiations with impending free agent safety Jairus Byrd, referring to the fourth-year player as "not one we'd want to swap"
  • Re-iterated his belief that the team needs to address the quarterback position this coming off-season
  • Roster moves: Erik Pears, Terrence McGee placed on IR; Kirk Morrison, John Potter released; Marcus Easley elevated from practice squad; Thomas Welch, Crezdon Butler added to active roster; offensive line acquisition forthcoming
