One of the numerous topics that Buffalo Bills general manager Doug Whaley covered this week during the NFL's annual meeting has been the potential return of wide receiver Percy Harvin.
With a lack of experience at receiver on the roster, there has been a lot of speculation surrounding Harvin's potential return to Buffalo. As Whaley stated in Mike Rodak's recent article, Harvin is going to make a decision about returning to football over the next two weeks.
Harvin had hip surgery following his injury in Week 5 last season, and was eventually placed on injured reserve. Prior to the injury, Harvin led the Bills in receiving, and showed promise that he could contribute at a level similar to that during his time in Minnesota.
With the recent departure of Chris Hogan, the Bills are now faced with a lack of depth and experience at wide receiver. The top incumbent backups currently on the roster include Marquise Goodwin (currently training for the Olympics) and Marcus Easley (currently recovering from a broken/dislocated knee), and the Bills have also added reserved/future free agents in Greg Little and Jarret Boykin, in addition to re-signing Greg Salas back in January.
