The Buffalo Bills have announced their list of seven inactive players for today's game against the Tennessee Titans. Two are starters, two more are significant role players, and three are healthy scratches. Here are the names:
- RB LeSean McCoy (hamstring)
- RB Karlos Williams (concussion)
- WR Sammy Watkins (calf)
- C Gabe Ikard (healthy scratch)
- DL Alex Carrington (healthy scratch)
- LB Tony Steward (healthy scratch)
- S Bacarri Rambo (quad)
McCoy, Williams, and Rambo had all been ruled out on Friday. Boobie Dixon will start at running back, with Cierre Wood and the recently-signed Boom Herron likely taking a few snaps in relief. Rambo's absence at safety will be dulled by the return of starter Aaron Williams to the lineup.
Watkins tested his injured calf out pre-game, but the Bills' plan all week appeared to be to give their top receiver one more rest game, even though he practiced on a limited basis for most of the week. He'll be replaced by a combination of Chris Hogan and Robert Woods in the starting lineup, and Marquise Goodwin - active for the first time this season coming off of a rib injury - may sneak in some snaps, as well.
The Bills and the Titans kick off at 1:00 p.m. ET.
