Bills-Patriots inactives, Monday Night Football: Kyle Williams headlines

Seven Bills players are inactive for tonight's game against the Patriots, but only one of them is scratched due to injury: defensive lineman Kyle Williams.

The (relatively) healthy Buffalo Bills are missing just one player from their active, 53-man roster for their Monday Night Football game against the New England Patriots due to injury: defensive lineman Kyle Williams, who has now missed four straight games with a knee ailment.

Among the six other healthy scratches, the biggest surprise is most definitely tackle Cyrus Kouandjio, who, even though he missed the last two games with a knee injury, had returned to practice on a full-time basis this week. His ending up on the inactive list means that Jordan Mills will serve as the Bills' swing tackle for a third straight week. Every other healthy scratch has appeared with that designation on multiple occasions for the team this year.

Here's the Bills' full list of inactives:

  • QB Josh Johnson (healthy scratch)
  • RB Boom Herron (healthy scratch)
  • OT Cyrus Kouandjio (healthy scratch)
  • Gabe Ikard (healthy scratch)
  • DL Kyle Williams (knee)
  • DL Stefan Charles (healthy scratch)
  • LB Randell Johnson (healthy scratch)

The Bills and the Patriots kick off at 8:30 p.m. ET on ESPN.
