Buffalo Bills place Charles Clay, Ron Brooks on Injured Reserve

The Buffalo Bills will have at least two more new players on their active roster for their season finale against the New York Jets on Sunday. They cleared two spots on the roster on Tuesday evening by placing tight end Charles Clay and cornerback Ron Brooks on Injured Reserve.

Clay injured his back in a Week 14 loss to Philadelphia, and had not played since exiting that contest. His first season as a member of the Bills ends after 13 games, 51 receptions, 528 yards, and three touchdowns. Chris Gragg will see the lion's share of the starter reps at tight end in the season finale.

Brooks played a season-high 31 defensive snaps in last weekend's win over Dallas when the Bills were without both of their starting cornerbacks. He had only just come back from a concussion. With rookie corner Ronald Darby a question mark due to a groin injury, one of the two corresponding roster moves, likely to be announced tomorrow, should be to add a corner to the roster.

Since the Bills opened their season way back on September 13, they have made a whopping 20 personnel changes to their 53-man roster. Most of them (14, in fact) are injury-related.
