Bills vs. Jets, 2015 NFL Week 17: Merrill Noel, Sammy Seamster activated

The Buffalo Bills filled two open spots on their 53-man roster with cornerbacks Merrill Noel and Sammy Seamster, who had been on their practice squad.

The Buffalo Bills promoted cornerbacks Merrill Noel and Sammy Seamster from their practice squad to their active roster on Wednesday, rounding out their 53-man roster in time for Sunday's regular season finale against the New York Jets

Noel, an undrafted rookie out of Wake Forest, was with the Bills this summer, and has spent the entirety of his rookie season on the practice squad. Seamster, a 2014 undrafted free agent out of Middle Tennessee State, joined Buffalo's practice squad in early November.

The two cornerbacks replace tight end Charles Clay and cornerback Ron Brooks, who were placed on Injured Reserve on Tuesday evening.

As we noted yesterday, the Bills are playing in Week 17 with 20 players on their active roster that were not present for their Week 1 win over Indianapolis. Once again, here is a full accounting of the roster turnover since September 13:
