Free agent quarterback Josh McCown has chosen to sign with the Cleveland Browns, according to his agent, Mike McCartney. He'll reportedly sign a three-year deal there.

The Buffalo Bills, in search for a veteran quarterback to place into a competition with third-year pro EJ Manuel, had reportedly been negotiating with McCown, as well. They hosted him on a free agent visit last Monday, February 16, which proved to be the first of four that he'd make, and continued their courtship into this week. Reports even surfaced that of all of the quarterbacks scheduled for free agency, the Bills liked McCown the best, and viewed him as an upgrade over the recently retired Kyle Orton.
Instead, McCown will head to Cleveland, and the Bills' search for a veteran foil to Manuel will continue when free agency begins on March 10.
