The Rolling Stones will be the first rock band to play a concert at Ralph Wilson Stadium in more than 14 years when they take the stage this July 11th. The Buffalo Bills made the announcement Tuesday morning as they continue to add dates to the previously football-only rotation at the stadium.

Even prior to the change of ownership, the Bills had begun discussing bringing concerts back to the Ralph but none were scheduled prior to Terry and Kim Pegula taking over ownership. The Dave Matthews Band played the final concert in the stadium on June 20, 2001. The Rolling Stones have previously played at Ralph Wilson Stadium four times: August 8, 1975, July 4, 1978, September 27, 1981, and October 8, 1997.

It has already been announced that the British boy band One Direction would be coming to Orchard Park this September 3rd. That's at least two major events at the stadium in 2015 in addition to the 8 regular season and 2 preseason games.

I don't know about you, but I can't wait to see Rex Ryan on stage singing "Brown Sugar."
