Buffalo Bills head coach Rex Ryan announced on Thursday that EJ Manuel will start the team's third preseason game against the Pittsburgh Steelers this Saturday - and that both Matt Cassel and Tyrod Taylor will see reps with the first-team offense, as well.

Rex: "My plan was to give everybody opportunities. Nobody can say nobody was given a fair shot here."

Ryan agreed with the droves of Bills fans out there that argued that Manuel, who played fairly well with the third-team offense in each of the team's first two preseason games, earned his chance to start a preseason game. Now he'll have it, although it sounds like his stay there will be rather short-lived if Taylor and Cassel are also taking first-team reps.
Cassel started the Bills' preseason opener against Carolina, and Taylor ran through the rotation first the following week in Cleveland. Manuel's start comes against Pittsburgh, but the fact that he's not the only quarterback running with the ones on Saturday might mean more than the fact that he'll be the first through the rotation.
The Bills, who are a little more than two weeks away from the regular season opener against the Indianapolis Colts, are the only NFL team that has yet to name a starting quarterback for the 2015 season.
