On the latest episode of Billieve: A Buffalo Bills Fan Podcast, host John Boccacino and co-host Anthony Marino discuss the unveiling of the 2019 Buffalo Bills’ preseason schedule, address the signing of an underrated pass rusher, and give their thoughts on three potential draft picks in the 2019 NFL Draft.

The games don’t count in the standings, but still, it was exciting to hear the Bills’ preseason schedule, which begins at home against the Indianapolis Colts the week of Aug. 8-12, and concludes with a home game against the Minnesota Vikings Aug. 29.

Our podcasters offer their thoughts on the free-agent signing of defensive end/linebacker Eli Harold, 25, another pass rusher for Leslie Frazier’s 4-3 defense. Harold has appeared in 61 career games, logging nine sacks to go with 93 tackles during a four-year career. He spent the 2018 season with the Detroit Lions as an outside linebacker/situational pass rusher after playing the first three years of his NFL career with the San Francisco 49ers,

Bills fans might remember Harold, 25, for sacking New England Patriots’ quarterback Tom Brady twice during a 26-10 win over the Patriots in Week 3 of the 2018 season. Last year, he recorded four sacks in 183 defensive snaps over 13 games, a rate of one sack every 45.8 snaps.

Boccacino and Marino then continued their NFL Draft preview by analyzing college prospects the Bills could select, including athletic Michigan defensive end Rashan Gary, Florida State edge rusher Brian Burns, who has been rapidly climbing the draft boards, and Iowa State wide receiver Hakeem Butler, a dynamic playmaker who can flat-out fly and has tremendous leaping abilities.

What do you think, Bills fans? Will Harold make an impact as a pass rusher/strong side linebacker in 2019? If you were general manager Brandon Beane, would you use a draft pick on Gary, Burns, or Butler?
