Buffalo Rumblings Podcast No. 7: deja vu in Bills vs. Patriots

What better way to capture the spirit of the Bills' latest last-second loss to New England than to recount the frustration twice?

Kevin Hoffman-USA TODAY Sports

We were on a roll, you guys.

Brendan Harrington, Matt Warren and I, that is. We were ten minutes into the latest episode of the Buffalo Rumblings Podcast, recapping the Buffalo Bills' 23-21 loss to the New England Patriots with unparalleled eloquence, fervor and entertainment value, when Brendan announced that there'd been a recording malfunction. We'd need to re-record the first ten minutes of the show.

Seriously, though: what better way to capture the spirit of the Bills' latest last-second loss to New England than to talk through a quarter of our show two times? Deja vu, indeed.

In the show, we touched on all of the major talking points - from the community feedback post to clock management to penalties to the no-huddle to play-calling to another Stevie Johnson dropped pass, and on and on - eventually landing in a place, I think, of frustrated optimism. Which is, of course, where most Bills fans are at mentally heading into Week 2, when the Bills will host an underrated Carolina Panthers team.

Our latest show is embedded below if you're into streaming it right here at Buffalo Rumblings. If you podcast elsewhere, it's also available in iTunes, through our dedicated RSS feed (for alternate subscription methods) and via direct download. For archived shows, you can either subscribe through one of the links above and download those that way, or simply check out our dedicated podcast hub.

Thanks for listening - and as always, feedback is welcome and appreciated. Thanks, and go Bills!
