It's been roughly a month now since we've known that the Buffalo Bills would be coached by Doug Marrone. 60 percent of Buffalo Rumblings readers approved of his hire on the day that those reports surfaced, and now that we're a month in, it's time to re-assess Marrone's approval rating. Here are some stories that Marrone has been involved with in his first month on the job (it's a short list):
Marrone's coaching staff has been filled out, which you can read all about (or re-read, as the case may be) in this StoryStream. His three biggest hires, of course, were offensive coordinator (slash quarterbacks coach)Nathaniel Hackett, defensive coordinator Mike Pettine and special teams coordinator Danny Crossman. The staff also includes seven former Syracuse University staffers, two quality control coaches each on offense and defense, and two linebackers coaches.
Aside from the coaching staff hires, Marrone made a brief appearance at the Senior Bowl, has made the rounds with media and with most areas of the organization, and was also present in Canada for the team's understated announcement on the Toronto Series extension. Right now, reports indicate that Marrone and his coaches are full bore into the player evaluation aspect of the beast as we move towards free agency and the 2013 NFL Draft.
