Buffalo Bills 2015 NFL Draft pick approval ratings

Bills fans approve of the team's selection of Nick O'Leary nearly wholeheartedly, but things are not as rosy for his current and former teammates, Ronald Darby and Karlos Williams.

The 2015 NFL Draft was the ninth that we have covered here at Buffalo Rumblings, and for seven those those, we have published approval polls with the announcement of each pick that the Buffalo Bills have made.

Florida State tight end Nick O'Leary, the Bills' second sixth-round pick on Saturday, became the fifth-most popular Bills draft pick in the history of this website, scoring a 92 percent approval rating, tying him in that fifth slot with 2012 second-round pick (and current Bills starting left tackle) Cordy Glenn. O'Leary trails well behind all-time approval leader Shawn Nelson, a fellow tight end (who is currently out of the league), but his popularity remains unqestioned.

As for the rest of the Bills' draft class, things were not so rosy. Seventh-round pick Dezmin Lewis fared well, even beating out teammate and fellow receiver Sammy Watkins in approval rating, but no other pick was higher than 66 percent approval. O'Leary's Florida State and Bills teammates, second-round pick Ronald Darby and fifth-rounder Karlos Williams, rank as two of the 11 lowest-rated draft picks in the seven years we've done this (though, mercifully, they weren't close to Jairus Byrd territory).

Here's how the 2015 Bills draft class stacks up against everyone picked by the Bills since 2009 in terms of Buffalo Rumblings approval rating.
