2016 NFL mock draft: Joey Bosa to Jacksonville Jaguars

The Baltimore Ravens, and general manager RocJeff, are now on the clock!

With the fifth pick in the 2016 Buffalo Rumblings Community Mock, the Jacksonville Jaguars (represented by lzlye) have selected Joey Bosa, defensive end from Ohio State. Here's what he had to say about the pick:

Going into this draft I had Ramsey, Bosa, and Jack as my top 3. With only Bosa left, the choice was fairly obvious. The only other player I even considered was Vernon Hargreaves, but mostly because of Jacksonville's penchant for drafting Florida players. CB doesn't seem like a huge hole for this team.

Jacksonville ranked 31st on defense, and 20th in sacks, and have aggressively sought to improve their defense. With the additions of Malik Jackson, Prince Amukamara, Tashaun Gipson, and now Joey Bosa,  it would seem they are definitely in for a big improvement.

While most mocks have Myles Jack landing here, Jack gone and Bosa available could be a blessing in disguise as we all know the value of getting to the QB. Adding Bosa would allow them to keep Malik Jackson inside, and presuming Dante Fowler comes back 100% from his injury... This is a potentially scary young D line.

The Baltimore Ravens are now on the clock. Remember, when it's your turn to submit a draft choice, email it to dan.r.lavoie+sbnation@gmail.com.
